How to connect your social accounts in Post See (step by step)

Connecting a profile takes a minute: you sign in with the official login for that network (we never see your password), approve the permissions we need to schedule and publish, and land back in Post See with your account in the list. Follow the steps below using the same screens you will see in your workspace.

Context at a glance

Post See dashboard showing Configuration sidebar with Connections selected and the Connected Accounts list
Go to Configuration → Connections. The Connected Accounts page lists every network; your workspace shows how many profiles you can connect on the current plan.

Quick summary

Open Connections, pick a network, sign in with the platform, and you are ready to schedule. This guide walks through the Connected Accounts screen, what each row means, and how to refresh or reconnect when a token shows as expired.

Feature highlight

Connect buttons for X and Pinterest next to a connected Pinterest row showing profile badge and token time remaining
Tap Connect for a network you have not linked yet. After you connect, you will see a row with your profile name, a token countdown (for example 28d), and a control to disconnect.

Use cases

First-time setup before scheduling

Under 2 min each

You create a workspace and need at least one connected profile before you can pick accounts on a post. Connect LinkedIn or Instagram first, then add others as you grow.

Multiple brands in one workspace

One row per profile

Each row is one connected profile. Connect Facebook Page A and Page B as separate rows if you publish to both; the calendar lets you choose which connections each post uses.

When you see Expired or a failed post

Reconnect fixes it

Platforms revoke tokens after a while or if you change your password. Use Refresh for that network, or disconnect and run Connect again to restore publishing.

How it works

Connection flow in five steps

Everything happens in the browser: we send you to the platform’s OAuth screen, then return to Post See with a secure token stored for scheduling.

1
Open Dashboard → Configuration → Connections (Connected Accounts).
2
Click Connect next to the network you want (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Pinterest, Bluesky, etc.).
3
Sign in on the official site and approve the requested permissions.
4
Return to Post See; your profile appears in the row with a token status when applicable.
5
If a connection expires, use Refresh or Connect again; use the × on the row only when you want to remove that profile.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers based on this guide—helpful for readers and search.

Where do I connect social accounts in Post See?
Open your dashboard, go to Configuration → Connections (Connected Accounts), then click Connect next to each network you use. You sign in on the official site for that platform; Post See stores tokens for scheduling—it never sees your password.
Can I connect multiple Facebook Pages or LinkedIn profiles?
Yes. Each connected profile appears as its own row. Connect Page A and Page B separately if you publish to both; when you compose a post, you choose which connections receive it. Your plan limits how many accounts the workspace can use.
What does “Expired” or a failed post mean?
Platforms revoke or expire access tokens over time or after password or security changes. Use Refresh for that network in Connections, or disconnect and run Connect again. Until the connection is healthy, scheduled posts to that profile may not publish.
Does it matter if my team is in different countries?
Connections are per workspace, not per office. Teammates in the US, UK, or elsewhere use the same connected accounts as long as they have access to the workspace; scheduling times can be set with each member’s or audience’s timezone in mind.
